1. Order

A written order from the guest is required for a written or telephone quotation from our staff. By placing an order, the guest accepts the hotel’s payment and cancellation conditions and the General Terms and Conditions. The order must include arrival and departure dates, names of guests and, in the case of children, their date of birth. Our staff will finalise the booking on the basis of the order and issue a confirmation.

2. Cancellation of order

  • 2.1 Cancellation of an order must always be made in writing.
  • 2.2 Reservations may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to arrival without penalty.
  • 2.3 From the 13th day before arrival to the 7th day after arrival: the deposit paid may be converted into a voucher which may be used within 1 year of issue. If the customer does not claim the voucher, the deposit paid will be charged as a penalty.
  • 2.4 In case of cancellation from the 6th day before arrival, the full amount of the deposit paid will be charged as a penalty.
  • 2.5 If the guest arrives on a later date or leaves earlier than the confirmed period of stay, he/she will be obliged to pay 100% of the confirmed amount for the whole period booked.
  • 2.6 Unexpected situations (illness, accident, family event, adverse weather conditions, traffic obstructions, etc.) may occur before and during the trip, therefore we recommend that our guests take out travel cancellation insurance with an insurance company of their choice on the day of booking.
  • 2.7 For special offers and promotional offers, cancellation conditions are subject to the terms and conditions of the offer.
  • 2.8 No refunds will be made for services booked but not used or modified during the Guest’s stay at the Guest House (accommodation, meals, etc.).
  • 2.9 The Service Provider may set different terms and conditions from those set out above in an individual Contract for the booking of products subject to special conditions, group travel or events.
  • 2.10 The conditions of withdrawal of the Contracting Party are governed by the Government Decree in force (45/2014 (II.26)).
  • 2.11 The accommodation provider may cancel the reservation within 24 hours from the date of reservation without any obligation.

3. Change of order

  • 3.1 Any change to the booking must be notified in writing.
  • 3.2 Once a reservation has been confirmed and confirmed, it may be changed to another date, or the number of persons or room types, subject to the current rates and availability, by paying the following fees no later than 7 days prior to arrival. In case of a request for modification within 6 days before arrival, the cancellation conditions apply.
    • 7 days before arrival: free of charge

4. Payment terms

  • 4.1 The booking of the room is guaranteed upon payment of the deposit indicated in the confirmation. Payment can be made online, by postal cheque or by bank transfer. A copy of the deposit payment voucher (stating name, address, order number or VAT invoice if required, tax number and issue address) must be sent to the Supplier. Payments may take 1-4 banking days to process.
  • 4.2 The remaining balance of the ordered services shall be paid by the guest at the reception on arrival or at the latest on the day of departure.
  • 4.3 In the case of special offers, the payment, modification and cancellation conditions are subject to change and will be confirmed in writing.
  • 4.4 In case of non-payment, the reservation will be cancelled.
  • 4.5 Accepted means of payment: cash, bank transfer, credit card, Széchenyi Pihenő Kártya
  • 4.6 The cost of using any payment method shall be borne by the Contracting Party or its SZÉP card/credit card.
    Travel Agencies / Tour operators / OTAs / Cooperating Partners:
    The contract with the service provider shall include specific payment terms.
  • 4.8 Gift voucher:
    A gift voucher purchased at the accommodation can be used within the validity period and value specified on it. The full value of the voucher must be paid in advance. The gift voucher must be paid in full.
