The water surface of Lake Balaton is 600 square kilometers. The lake is 77 km long and has an average width of 7.7 km, so there are plenty of opportunities for fishing on Lake Balaton. Finding fishing places on Lake Balaton can be made difficult by the fact that many private beaches and hotels have been built, so coastal fishing has become difficult, so we can often get bored in this vast body of water if we do not have enough local knowledge.
